National Guard Youth Challenge The National Guard Youth ChalleNGe Program is one of the most successful youth-at-risk initiatives in the country.

More than 74,000 at-risk youth have graduated from the program. It is voluntary, at no cost to participants, and has an astounding 82 percent success rate!

AOC Solutions plays a vital role in the success of this program. Each year, AOC’s Program Assessment Division conducts an annual assessment of the Youth ChalleNGe Program.

AOC auditors personally visit each of the program’s 33 sites across the United States and Puerto Rico, conducting an intense, two-and-a-half-day assessment that includes:

  • Accountability and validation of resources;
  • Assessment and analysis of program budget;
  • Operational assessments; and
  • Assess of the function and structure of the program.

AOC uses templates custom created for the Youth ChalleNGe Program to assure consistency in the evaluations. AOC watches for trends and notifies the National Guard of any potential issues, enabling the client to react quickly.

AOC creates a slick, four-color annual report for the program.

The work performed by the Program Assessment Division has been so successful that the National Guard recently rewarded AOC with a series of 10, one-year renewable contracts to continue its annual assessment of the program.
