Company culture

Company culture is just as important as salaries and benefits. Will you enjoy working at AOC? Will our environment help your career grow and thrive? Will you have fun here? (Yes, fun.)

Dress Code

Our dress code policy is very flexible. Basically, just “dress for your day.” Because of our multiple locations and lines of business, dress code is based on your role and location. For example, if you work in a job that interacts in person with customers, vendors and/or the public, then you should dress in business or business casual attire that’s appropriate for your position. However, if (and when) you don’t have that in-person interaction, then dressing casually is completely acceptable.

It’s true … sometimes you spend more hours each day with your co-workers than with your family. And just as it’s important to build strong and healthy relationships within your family, at AOC we believe it’s important to foster strong and healthy working relationships too. And we do this in several ways:

    team building
  • Regular company-paid lunches (sometimes it’s going to have sushi or burgers with your team; other times it’s ordering in pizza for the entire office).
  • Periodic team-building events (such as bowling, laser tag, zip-lining, trivia night, scavenger hunts, etc.).
  • Annual company Christmas party at AOC Corporate Headquarters (with an insane amount of food and beverages for your enjoyment — all company-paid).
  • Office-wide celebrations such as tailgating lunches during football season, bake-off contests, ice cream socials and more.
  • Company retreats (all expenses paid) to tropical locations. Past excursions have included a cruise in the Bahamas and a four-day weekend at an all-inclusive resort in Cancun, Mexico.
